<title>RE: Random Null Pointers Error</title>
 <description>Database Drivers for CF8 is the cause of the null pointer exception error. HostMySite has an immediate fix for this issue. I found during my null pointer exception page errors that it seemed to be browser specific and somewhat random. Google Chrome and IE were the two biggest showing the error while Opera, Safari and FireFox rarely should this issue if at all. This immediate CF8 null pointer error is a fix that has to be done on the server side and not in myphp admin. So if you have upgraded to CF8 that was the cause. Hope this helps.

 <title>init function is not of type struct</title>
 <description>Hi Ray, I have used soundings before and totally love it! Great app! I just downloaded a fresh version a few days ago and set it up on my server and discovered a new bug or an error on my part.

I can create my survey&apos;s and my questions just fine. The problem occurs after you answer all the questions and submit the form. You will get the following error:
The SETTINGS argument passed to the init function is not of type struct.
If the component name is specified as a type of this argument, its possible that a definition file for the component cannot be found or is not accessible.

The error occurred in C:\localsites\SoundingsSurvey\cfcs\question.cfc: line 16

I&apos;m pretty sure the forum is going to mangle that error message so here is a link the the output page with the full error

Any Ideas?

 <title>RE: embed problem</title>
 <description>Woot. Found it. I&apos;ll try to make an official release later today, but if you add this one line of code to the top of survey.cfm, it will fix it:
</description>
