And now for a message from Adobe...

I'm sure many other blogs are going to be posting this, but I wanted to pass on this Breeze presentation from Shantanu Narayen, Adobe President and COO.

Linkage here: http://adobe.breezecentral.com/drupdate0106/

The presentation relates directly to Adobe and Developer Relations. Don't do what I do - run it with FlushMute turned on. I thought for a minute it was an oddly quiet presentation. :)

Yeah, he speak with developers or shareholders? What about the future of the applications?

I gotta be honest...there's not much in there as compared to the letter that was apparently sent to Team Macromedia members that made it into the blogosphere. It's great that the higher-ups recognize the community, but I'm more anxious for the investor meeting that's coming up. That's where the real roadmap will be layed out. Coming out of that meeting is where I see the real future of the Macromedia community and its integration with Adobe being cleared up.

Next time maybe they can actually hire somebody that can speak and do presentations correctly.

I'm not sure that is fair Matt. He obviously isn't a native English speaker, but that isn't his fault. Anyway - I do think more news will start slipping out soon.

January 31 is the date to circle on your calendar. That's the date of the investor meeting where Adobe will outline their strategy and unveil roadmaps for the appropriate products. Anything before then is just PR to let us know they're there.
