toXML Component Updated

As I don't have a RIAForge project for it, I thought I'd folks know that toXML, my CF to XML component, had an update today. I added a simple attribute to all the converters to let you return the XML without the XML header tag. This is useful for times when you want to add the XML to another existing XML string.

Why don't I have it up on RIAForge? I'm trying to avoid CFCs on RIAForge as CFLib will be supporting them shortly.

Ray: out of curiosity (and having some code that I'd like to contribute "shortly"), where will sets of related CFCs belong-- on cflib or on RIAForge?

Tom, keep this in mind:

I 'code' RIAForge but don't 'own' it.
I 'code' and 'own' CFLib.

I can set some policy on RIAForge, but it is really Adobe's baby. _My_ personal feeling is that custom tags, UDFs, and CFCs should be sent to CFLib, not RIAForge. If someone submits one though I'll approve it.

Especially since CFLib hasn't been finished yet. ;)

I thought www.cfczone.org was the place for CFCs ....

But then, you neither code nor own that one, do ya? ;) I'm not sure anyone's maintaining that...

Ah but he does....

I think going forward the plan is cflib (not to speak for you ray...)

Rob Brooks-Bilson made it and runs it. I spoke with him about merging since the site didn't get many submissions. I don't tink CFLib will either, but the idea is to have ONE place for UDFs, Tags, and CFCs. All 100% free and open source.

I'm with you 100% there!

ONE SITE TO RULE THEM ALL....

oops...
